So you got your new HeadBlade and very excited to use it. After reading a lot of reviews and comments , you now got one of the best — if not the best — headshaver in the market. You’ve popped it out of the packaging, checked it out with amazement. It looks like a really cool toy. But then it strikes you, you’re put to a halt. “How does this thing work?”
Here is a simple guide to use the HeadBlade and Iet me tell you that when you’re done following these instructions, you’ll be shaving away like a pro.
- For first timers – Cut your hair short, as short as stubbles if you can . If you have an electric trimmer then that’s great, trim away. This makes it easier for you and your scalp; this is the first time your scalp will be shaved so extra care should be done. Cutting the hair short makes maximum visualization and short hair won’t clog the blades easily.
- Wash your scalp properly. Scrub your scalp a bit to get all that dead skin out. This also softens the hair.
- Apply some shaving cream. Again, this helps soften the hair and lubricates the scalp for easy shaving.
- Now insert the HeadBlade into your middle finger. This feature is unique to HeadBlade because it uses your hand as a handle. The blades should be facing towards you and not the other way around.
- Another unique feature of the Headblade is that it shaves by pushing the blade, unlike conventional razors that work by pulling the blades and applying some pressure. “No pressure should be applied” when using the HeadBlade and let the blades do their work on their own– Do not apply pressure.
- Now shave starting at the centre and using long strokes from front to back. Wash the blades often to prevent clogging. Now slowly go outwards to whichever side you want until you’ve completely shaven your head.
The HeadBlade might feel awkward at first but when you get the hang of it, you won’t need a mirror to shave your head.
